Who we are

filebanao is a public card and document studio at https://filebanao.online. The marketing site, the web studio at /app, and the Android app are one product. Contact: hello@filebanao.com.

This policy covers account data, documents you create, device storage, optional cloud sync, cookies, and advertising. Related pages: Terms, Advertising Policy, and Content Policy.

Information you give us

If you create an account we store your name, email, and a hashed password. We do not store the password in plain text.

Documents you create (resume text, card fields, photos you upload, QR values, dates) stay on the device first. If you turn on cloud sync, the same records can be stored on our server so you can open them on another device. The marketing pages do not need your resume or card text to show a template.

Do not type secrets you would not print: bank PINs, Aadhaar / PAN / passport numbers, one-time passwords, or government document copies. filebanao is not a vault for official identity data.

Information collected automatically

The website and app may collect technical data needed to run the service and to show ads: IP address, browser or app version, device type, language, referring page, and crash or request logs.

The Android app may use the Google advertising ID (AAID). Google and its partners can use device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, and to detect invalid traffic. We do not sell your documents to advertisers.

Advertising — Google AdSense and Google AdMob

The website uses Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-8586259858102051). The Android app uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK (Android app ID ca-app-pub-8586259858102051~9772406592) for banner, native, and interstitial ads. Premium users in the app do not see AdMob ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising ID and limit ad tracking in system settings (Google → Ads).

Cookies and similar technologies

The marketing site may set first-party cookies for basic site function. AdSense and Google may set third-party cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to remember your visits and to personalize or measure ads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking advertising cookies may mean you still see ads, but they may be less relevant. The Android app does not use website cookies for AdMob; it uses the Mobile Ads SDK and the advertising ID instead.

How we use information

We use account and document data to sign you in, save and sync your cards, show your work, and export PDF or image files. We use technical and advertising data to operate the site and app, prevent abuse, measure traffic, and show Google ads.

We do not use the text of your resume, biodata, or uploaded photo to build an advertising profile. Ad partners receive the technical and identifier data described above, not your document contents.

Who we share data with

Google, as our advertising and analytics partner (AdSense, AdMob, Google Mobile Ads). Google acts as an independent controller for the ad data it collects. See Google's policies linked above.

Hosting and infrastructure providers that store the website and, if enabled, cloud document backups. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to stop fraud, abuse, or illegal use of the studio.

Children

filebanao is for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not a children's app under COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

School or college identity-card templates are for teachers, parents, or administrators creating cards for an institution. They are not a product for children to use on their own. If you believe a child under 13 created an account, email hello@filebanao.com and we will delete it.

Payments

The current public version does not require a payment card. If Premium payments launch later, the payment provider will process card or UPI details. We will not store full card numbers on filebanao servers. This policy will be updated before paid checkout goes live.

Retention, access, and deletion

Device-only documents stay until you delete them or clear app / browser storage. Cloud documents stay until you delete them or close the account. Advertising identifiers are controlled by Google and by your device settings.

To request access or deletion of an account, write to hello@filebanao.com from the same email. We may keep minimal logs needed for security, fraud prevention, or law.

Security and international users

We use HTTPS on the public site and hashed passwords. No method of storage is perfectly secure. Do not put classified or highly sensitive official data in a card template.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with extra privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing, and to object to personalized ads. Use Google Ads Settings for ad choices and email us for account data. We will add a consent form (UMP) before targeting those regions with personalized ads.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product, ads, or the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
